It's got to be better than wasting money on players that would guarantee us promotion.
Or maybe showing the plans off in Billy's Bar is the only way of getting anybody in through it's doors!!

Don't know about you lot but I am looking forward to shopping and having a cappuccino in the arcades at the rear of the east stand in
the not too distant future, forget your city centre boutiques LS10 is where I will be spending my leisure time!

Excellent news, I must find time to pop down to Billy's Bar one dinnertime and partake in some of their superb fayre whilst I peruse the plans. That is if
I can manage to book a table in such a popular establishment, I hear there is quite a waiting list these days.
I do hope there is to be a Starbucks included in the plans as the wife is quite partial to their infusions. A small Harvey Niks outlet would also be quite handy to help sasify her love of ridiculously expensive handbags. We have no need to worry about the cost of the development, as this will easily be covered by the sales of Delph, Beckford and Bechio when we fail to achieve promotion. We can always buy some new players later on as I'm sure the arcades will be packed to the brim with happy shoppers simply falling over themselves to put money into the clubs coffers. Later on, the club will probably have enough money to re-develop other parts of the ground. perhaps they could build new stands to accomodate all the thousands of extra fans that will be attending the games as we make our first forages into division 2 and eventually the conference leagues. Who knows, perhaps eventually, we can redevelop the entire site into shopping arcades and hotels. It could become a whole seperate self contained community, with apartments, swimming pools, supermarkets and petrol stations. We won't even actually need to play football there at all anymore! How cool would that be? We would be the envy of the sporting world, a shining example of what can be achieved if the right people are in charge. |

Why not ?
- Credit Crunch - Glut of hotels in Leeds - Commercial property values falling drastically - Recession - LS11 - well out of town, no rail link - The need to purchase Thorp Arch - The need to get out of this division ....plus many other reasons why.
